Mr. Payton has a diverse portfolio of unique experiences across various cultures and socioeconomic backgrounds. He has combined over 15+ years as an Operations Leader, Life Insurance Broker, Serial Social Entrepreneur & Investor, Philanthropist and Author.

Mr. Payton continues to heavily work with and advocate for the creation and sustainability of Black businesses, jobs and investors. Additionally, he is a major advocate for Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). His love for HBCUs has led to the creation of both HBCU Wall Street, LLC and subsidiary companies HBCU Movers and the HBCU Realty, LLC.
A Co-Founder of two nonprofit organizations, “Standing Tall For Success, Inc.” and “From Me 2 We, Inc.,” Mr. Payton has served on various nonprofit boards and committees including United Way. Currently, he is a board member of Future Endeavors Life Program (F.E.L.P), a Fayetteville, NC nonprofit that has a vision of helping and preparing underserved and at risk youth for a future of success. Mr. Payton is also an advisory board member for the Department of Applied Engineering Technology in the College of Science and Technology at North Carolina Agricultural &Technical State University.

Mr. Payton has been featured in local and national news outlets such as NBC Blk (Black), Blavity, American Banker and the national television series “Power 2 The People” on The Word Network. He was featured in the highly anticipated documentary film, “The Melanin Code”. He was a reoccurring guest on WCCG 104.5 FM in Fayetteville, NC, where he provided the weekly “Words of Wisdom”. His work has provided him with opportunities to speak at conferences for major organizations, such as Rainbow PUSH Wall Street Project Economic Summit and institutions of higher education including Morehouse College, Howard University, the University of Wisconsin, and Hampton University. Mr. Payton is also the Co-Author of “Dream Big. Dream Often. Dream Unrealistic. Sidelines To Get Off The Sidelines”.

Mr. Payton is a proud 2-time graduate of North Carolina Agricultural & Technical (A&T) State University in Greensboro, NC, where he double majored in Electronics Technology, B.S. and Manufacturing Systems, B.S. Additionally, he has a Master of Science in Management from Southern Methodist University (SMU) in Dallas, TX. He is a graduate of United Way’s Leadership Development Program. He is a 2018 Black Enterprise Modern Man and a 2017 Washington, DC The Made Man (TMM) Honoree and a 2018 Black Enterprise Modern Man 100 Men of Distinction.
