On the heels of National Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) Week, we are excited to announce that we have selected our Class 5 cohort for the 2021 HBCUvc Fellowship. For the past five years, HBCUvc’s flagship program has grown in size and impact; this year is no different. Our incoming class of 62 fellows hail from 16 HBCUs, including six institutions who are newly represented in our community — Edward Waters University, Virginia State University, Xavier University of Louisiana, South Carolina State University, Alabama State University, and Talladega College.
This year’s fellows also reflect a diverse community across various areas of studies, disciplines, and career paths. From biology majors and MBA students to founders and experienced industry professionals, they bring a tapestry of lived and learned experiences to this program, which speaks the brilliance and breadth of the HBCU network.
