Subject to the provisions of applicable laws, any personal information you submit to HBCU Media will not be used in any manner to which you have not consented. This privacy policy ("Privacy Policy") describes how HBCU Media protects the privacy and security of personally identifiable information of users of our Website, Application and HBCU Media. Any capitalized terms used but not defined in this Privacy Policy have the respective meanings given them in the applicable Terms. By using the Website, Application or HBCU Media, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information by HBCU Media in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Website, Application or HBCU Media. If we decide to change our Privacy Policy, we will post those changes on this page. This Privacy Policy covers how HBCU Media treats personally identifiable information that it collects and receives through the Website, Application or HBCU Media. To pay for an accommodation, make a booking or accept a booking. To verify the information you provide, including without limitation, your identity and the location of your listing. To allow us to provide better service and respond to your customer service requests. To administer a promotion, survey or other Website, Application or HBCU Media feature. To sell, promote or market other HBCU Media products and HBCU Media to you or to sell, promote or market third party products and HBCU Media to you. To respond to subpoenas, search warrants, judicial proceedings, court orders, legal process, or other law enforcement measures, to establish or exercise our legal rights, or to defend against legal claims. To investigate, prevent, or take action regarding alleged or actual illegal activities, violations of the applicable Terms, or as otherwise required by law. 4. Do we disclose the information we collect to outside parties?
Your public profile, including your picture, name, information about the listing and any other information that you choose to make public on the Application, Website or HBCU Media will be available to other users of the Website, Application and HBCU Media. No listings will be publicly searchable. When a guest submits a request to find a host, any host within the guests' requested location radius will be able to see all of the guest's information (such as name, picture, mutual friends, etc.). Only when a host accepts a request from a guest, will the guest be able to see the host's information as well. We generally do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information unless we provide you with advance notice, except as described in this Privacy Policy. The term "outside parties" does not include our affiliates and any other parties who assist us in offering HBCU Media, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. If we sell our company, or otherwise transfer any assets of our company, we may provide your personal information to the purchaser so that you may continue the relationship or business with us and our products. We may also release your personal information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our policies, or protect ours or others' rights, property, or safety. However, non-personally identifiable information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

We may use cookies. You may opt out of information collection at any time by not using the HBCU Media or accessing the Website, uninstalling the Application or any other apps that we may offer from all of your devices, and/or by deactivating any account you may have created.

HBCU Media follows generally accepted industry security standards to safeguard and help prevent unauthorized access, maintain data security and correctly use your personally identifiable information. However, no commercial method of information transfer over the Internet or electronic data storage is known to be 100% secure. As a result, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of that information during its transmission or its storage in our systems.
8. Does this Privacy Policy cover third party links?
This Privacy Policy applies solely to information collected by our Website, Application or the HBCU Media. In an attempt to provide you with increased value, we may include third party links on our Website, the Application or through the HBCU Media. These linked sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our Website, Application and HBCU Media and welcome any feedback about these linked sites (including if a specific link does not work).

This Privacy Policy applies only to information collected through our Website, Application or HBCU Media and not to information collected offline.

It is important to note that the Application, Website and HBCU Media are offered under United States law. 12. How do you correct or update personal information?
You can correct or update your personal information by re-registering, updating your profile, or by contacting us by electronic-mail admin@HBCU Media.com. However, we will maintain copies of your information to the extent retained as part of our standard backup/archive process. In addition, these procedures will not remove any of your information that you have provided to other users or third parties, or that has been collected from you by third parties linked from the Application, Website or HBCU Media.
13. How do we protect children's privacy?
We understand the importance of protecting children's privacy in the interactive online world. The Application, Website and HBCU Media are not designed for, or intentionally targeted at, children under the age of eighteen (18). It is not our policy to intentionally collect or maintain information about anyone under the age of eighteen (18). No one under the age of eighteen (18) should submit any personal information to HBCU Media.
